Resources for Athens Area Artists
Athens Creatives Directory
Artist: Noah James Saunders
Photographer: Craig Gum Photography
The Athens Creatives Directory is a sleek and efficient hub of Athens creatives that has been developed to promote the local creative economy. ACD works by encouraging creatives to submit listings of their work that will then be published for public viewing. Then, visitors and patrons can explore this community resource and interact with as many artists as possible.
Funding Opportunities
Are you raising funds for an artistic project or event in the Athens area? Individuals and groups can apply for one of our artist grants! One grant is awarded each quarter of the year, and applications can roll over to the next quarter.
If you are planning a public or community-focused art project or event, your funders may want their donation to be tax-deductible. The AAAC offers an avenue for your project to attain nonprofit status through our fiscal sponsorship program.
This $500 scholarship will be awarded annually to one Black artist (of any discipline) who graduated or will graduate from a Clarke County high school and is attending or has been accepted to a college or university to study the Arts
