To apply for the AAAC Quarterly Artist Grant:
Download the Quarterly Grant Application (Adobe PDF), fill in all required fields, and save it to your computer starting with your last name and first initial (ex: JonesW_QuarterlyGrantApplication.pdf).
Download the Quarterly Grant Budget Form (MS Excel), fill in your project budget on the second tab, and save it to your computer starting with your last name and first initial (ex: JonesW_BudgetForm.xsl). Note: if you don’t have Microsoft Excel, you can upload the file to Google Sheets, complete the form, and then download and save to your computer. XLS and CSV file formats are acceptable.
Gather the images you plan to include with the application and rename a copy of each (ex: JonesW_Image1.jpg) - JPG, PNG and PDF formats are acceptable, combined file size is 5MB. If your art is performance based, collect links to the work to be pasted into the body of your email. (Make sure sharing is set to allow the Grants Committee permission to view the work)
Email the application, budget form and images (or links) to grants@athensarts.org with the subject line Quarterly Grant Application.
Grants awards are announced in April, July, October and January. Your application will be kept active for one year so that even if you are not awarded in the first quarter, you are still eligible to receive funding in a later quarter.
